As of now the team responsible for creating Whore of the Orient, a detective thriller set in 1936, with L.A. Noir creator Brendan McNamara is reported to be shutting down after loosing its publishers financial support. Until now they were part of a KMM games division.
Interestingly after loosing their publisher at the end of 2012 the team still was looking for employees most recently a lead programmer which date goes back to April 5th 2013. There are possibilities that the studio might have been looking for new employees till the last minute or it was close to gaining a new publisher. But with the controversies behind Team Bondis closure the distrust of the investors is quite understandable.

The actual situation is not 100% for sure and still wasn't confirmed from KMM.
